Repairs

We offer our repair service on a sliding scale depending on the age of the model, the difficulty of getting the parts and the time the repair will take. These prices are a rough guide as sometimes parts can be very expensive. We will always give you a quote before carrying out any works.

<!-  Basic Repair/Cleaning     £10.00 + parts (brushes/springs)

<!-  Standard Repair - Motor etc,Electrical problem £20.00 + parts

<!-  Major Repair- Damaged Chassis,Gearing, Body.£25.00 - £40.00 parts may be difficult to obtain

DCC Fitting  Service Suspended at present.

Dcc Fitting is also done on a sliding scale. Where fitting a modern dcc ready locomotive is relatively easy, Altering an old chassis is extremely hard and time consuming. This is reflected in our prices.We have a choice of  Hornby , Bachmann or Gaugemaster Chips. We will always quote you in the case of conversions before carrying the work out.
